Provide IT Customer Support for the users of the ERP and Academic Information System of Universidad Santiago de Cali (Santiago de Cali University).

Develop and customize Web Services to process payments made through banks.

Meet with the users and identify the needs and requirements to be solved.

Analysis and development of software requirements.

Design anonymous blocks using Oracle PL/SQL.

Create customized user reports using SQL.

Coordinate with the Software provider and the final users, requested requirements, the solutions of the incidents and establish the priority of the cases.

Evaluate with the Software Development Coordinator the integration proposals with the information systems of the banks with which the University had commercial agreements in order to process automatically the payments made by the students.

Interact with the banks when is required to make changes in the generation of flat files that are used in their virtual platforms to make transactions.

Developed reports for the ERP and Academic Information System using Jasper Reports software.

Provide IT customer support and maintenance of the payment gateway which was built with Java Servlets and PHP and deployed through Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server respectively.

Provide IT support to the final users of the ERP and Academic Information System “SIGUSC” which was built with Oracle 11g Database, Oracle Forms 6i and Oracle Reports 6i.

Achievements:

• Contributed in the data migration of the payroll system “NMUNO” to Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) “ICEBERG”.
• Developed SOAP web services to process payments made by the students through banks using C# and Visual Studio. Use cases: Banco de Bogota and Banco Sudameris.

Assisted in the design and development of a mobile and web application called SkoolIT, which was a user information solution for Schools in New York, United States.

Analysis of software requirements.

Development of software for mobile devices according to requirements, using programming languages such as Java 2 Micro Edition (BlackBerry OS) AND Super Waba (Windows CE, Pocket PC and PALM OS).

Adaptation of software applications made in J2ME to BlackBerry OS.

Development of client-server software by using Java 2 Standard Edition.

Development of web-based software using PHP and HTML language, JavaScript, Eclipse Integrated Development Environment, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server Database.

Mobile Software tests on emulators and physical devices that supported the BlackBerry OS, Windows CE, Pocket PC and PALM OS operating systems.

Adaptation of software applications made in J2ME to BlackBerry OS.

Achievements

• Contributed in the development and certification of the Mobile Application called Skoolit for Research In Motion, the former developer of the Canadian BlackBerry brand of smartphones, and tablets and for Sprint Corporation, the American telecommunications company.

Assisted in the design and development of a web application called “Adsum CMMS”, which was a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) built using PHP, PostgreSQL and Apache Server.

Achievements

• Contributed in the implementation of “Adsum CMMS” for SENA, a training entity for the work of the Colombian State.
• Contributed in the implementation of “Adsum CMMS” for EMCALI, a municipal utility company, through “Integrated Technological Platform” project also known as PTI.
• Contributed in the implementation of “Adsum CMMS” for INVAL, a manufacturer of modular furniture in Palmira, Valle del Cauca.
